FILTERING CONSULTING AND DIAGNOSTICS

BRASFELT has a specialized technical team to carry out consulting and diagnostics for filtration and separation plants, in order to improve processes, increasing productivity and reducing operating and maintenance costs.

WEAR PROTECTION

Brasfelt® WP, a BRASFELT® division specializing in solutions against wear, has the most advanced technologies in coatings for hydraulic and pneumatic transport pipes, where severe operating conditions cause significant losses due to abrasive wear in pulp and waste lines, increasing the operating cost of mineral processing plants.


Materials such as cast basalt, high alumina ceramics, silicon carbide and others extend pipeline life by eliminating unscheduled downtime for corrective maintenance.

RETROFITTING

Retrofitting is the process of updating some old and outdated, unproductive or non-standard equipment. The process is based on an analysis of the old and/or unproductive machine, but with a structural body capable of receiving the changes and innovations of a state-of-the-art machine.


Vacuum Disc Filter Retrofitting consists of applying the BRASFELT project to existing filters.


BRASFELT Retrofittings make it possible to achieve an immediate increase in productivity and a reduction in humidity, without having to make changes to existing plants.


  • In addition, retrofitted BRASFELT filters have greater physical availability, which increases filtration reliability and reduces operating and maintenance costs.

EQUIPMENT REVITALIZATION

BRASFELT carries out revitalization services for equipment that are not in adequate conservation conditions. The service consists of a prior analysis of the situation and the recovery and/or exchange of damaged parts, with the aim of resuming ideal operating conditions.

LABORATORY AND PILOT TESTS

Laboratory tests are conducted at BRASFELT for technology selection, equipment sizing and evaluation of filtration parameters. We are prepared to carry out bench tests of the main filtration technologies for slurries, sludge and tailings.


We have the following technologies for bench testing:

     BRASFELT also has equipment on a pilot scale, to simulate the operation of industrial equipment. The tests, using this equipment, can be carried out either on site or in our plant, according to the customer's needs.
